Boss Level
Boss Level is relatively recent and at the time of this writing can be found on Hulu. It never made it to the theaters likely due to COVID-19.
“Trapped in a time loop that constantly repeats the day of his murder, former special forces agent Roy Pulver (Frank Grillo) uncovers clues about a secret government project that could unlock the mystery behind his untimely death. In a race against the clock, Pulver must hunt down Colonel Ventor (Mel Gibson), the powerful head of the government program, while outrunning skilled ruthless assassins determined to keep him from the truth in order to break out of the loop, save his family and live once again for tomorrow.“
This movie is a great mix of action, comedy, and sci-fi. The trailer got me interested and the actual movie lived up to the hype. It’s a fun movie to watch from beginning to the end. It’s not perfect. I won’t say it is an all-star cast but there are a couple of big enough names here that keep it becoming a complete cast of poor acting newbies trying to make a name for themselves. It reminds me of Deadpool but thankfully a few ticks less silly. I think you’ll enjoy it.
