Keeping It Positive
I am at the age where I must be deliberate in maintaining my health. That includes exercise, eating, sleeping and the usual stuff. It also includes my mental and spiritual health. How I start the day really matters and directly affects the rest of the day in a noticeable way. Prayer, breakfast, stretching, push-ups/pull-ups, and walking/running are an important start. I don’t always do everything I should do each day and when I do too little it is noticeable. When I have a good start however, the day is great for me. Much of the same things happen during the week but how I experience them is very different. I have the chance each day to choose my mood, to be responsible for it, and when I choose well, life is damn good.
