Houston – Week 2

This week I started looking for work. I got some hits right away but only from companies that wanted me to sell insurance. I remain hopeful nonetheless. I also got myself a bedroom set so I’m relatively comfortable now though I still need a desk and chair. It’s still hot outside so I only leave the house with a purpose.

In my commitment to step up my social game I did a lot of searching on Meetup.com. I never took it seriously before but out here it has been invaluable. I went out to another event and I have to say it was good to be able to have a sit down open conversation with local people. Hopefully I’ve already made some friends.

I downloaded and started playing the Pokemon Go App. I didn’t get it at first but now it’s quite fun and much more social than I anticipated. I can see how playing it can be dangerous.
